I would recommend them, you are in very good hands!!
Worst hospital ever!!! It's not even like a hospital. Came through the door with light headed and chest pain, waited 2 hours to do an EKG, no type of monitoring in the room. No nurse assigned to patients, blood pressure was checked 1 time total in 8 hour stay!!! Took 8 hours just to give me an answer! I will NEVER go back!
I am very thankful for the people at Doctors Memorial. They have saved my life more than once.
They know nothing up there, wouldn't take my dog to them. Thought it was supposed to be a better Hospital!
I had to have a physical examination for employment, which included having some blood drawn, and for the first time in my life I actually passed out from being stuck by a needle. They immediately responded by lying me back and elevating my legs and ensuring that my shirt collar was loosened. A doctor came in and checked my pulse and eyes and gave me a small can of orange juice before authorizing the nurse to continue with the ECG (reading electrical activity of my heart by machine instead of listening to it by stethoscope). Fortunately that came back normal, so we knew it wasn't my heart that cause me to pass out.
They have been given a one because of how amazing the nursing staff is at this location! They are great people and really try to help within their scope of practice. Before the nursing staff were considered they were at a minus 3 for overall care; ability to perform basic medical procedures, equipment/technologies, lack of specialists available, and the doctor's overall knowledge, skills, and abilities.
The staff was very courteous and professional.
The physician that did the physical examination was professional and friendly, and they kept asking me for the last few minutes while I was there how I was feeling to ensure I didn't black out again.
